Manchester United has drawn 0-0 at home, Old Trafford, against The Saints, Southampton, in the Premier League Matchday 21 and the final match this year, 2017, and this is the third consecutive draw for Manchester United.
Manchester United’s fans and Jose Mourinho’s day didn’t end with that bad news only, but Manchester United’s main striker, Romelu Lukaku got injured in the very first few minutes of the match, and now Jose Mourinho, Manchester United’s manager, has confirmed the injury of Manchester United’s striker, Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
According to several sources such as Kooora, Daily Mail, and others, Jose Mourinho has confirmed in a post-match press conference that Zlatan Ibrahimovic will b e out injured for around a month due to the same injury he suffered from recently which left him injured for around seven months after picking up the injury in the Europa League last April.
Jose Mourinho said that 36 years old striker, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, is facing “A big problem”. Jose Mourinho said to BBC:” It’s the same knee, It’s a big problem, he is 36 years old with a bad knee.”
This leaves Manchester United and Jose Mourinho with a headache after losing the only two strikers in the team for a certain time, but this could trigger Jose Mourinho to sign new players in January to replace the injured players.
In addition, this questions the reason why Jose Mourinho sold Wayne Rooney to Everton last summer, where Rooney was able to play as a striker as well, and he is having a better season than Lukaku so far.
