Manchester United have drawn yesterday, Tuesday, 2-2 in the Premier League against Burnley FC at home, but Manchester United and Jose Mourinho’s night got worse after Marcos Rojo got suspended
Manchester United are already suffering from several injuries, especially in the backline where Chris Smalling, Eric Bailly, Antonio Valencia and Matteo Darmian are out, and now it is confirmed that another player will be absent, Marcos Rojo, due to suspension.
Marcos Rojo has received a yellow card yesterday against Burnley after just a few seconds of the beginning of the match where he got subbed off in the halftime, and it’s his fifth yellow card this season after his comeback from the long-term injury, and the five yellow cards came in just five matches, which means he received one yellow card in every Premier League match he played in, knowing that Marcos Rojo has played just five matches in the Premier League this season, and two other matches one in the EFL Cup, and one in the Champions League.
This suspension means that the Argentinian defender, Marcos Rojo, will miss the clash against The Saints, Southampton, on Saturday at home in the Premier League to serve his one-match ban for yellow cards accumulations.
Jose Mourinho, Manchester United’s manager, will be forced to stick to Phil Jones and Victor Lindelof as a center back in the match unless Chris Smalling makes it before Saturday. Knowing that Jose Mourinho played Nemanja Matic as a central back against Burnley in the second half after subbing off Marcos Rojo.
