REAL MADRID reportedly think they can sign Liverpool star Mohamed Salah for a huge £155million this summer
Real Madrid want Liverpool forward Salah with the Egypt international currently taking the footballing world by storm.
The 26-year-old signed from Roma back in the summer and scored goal No 40 of the season against Bournemouth on Saturday.
Real Madrid are likely to show both Gareth Bale and Karim Benzema the exit door this summer and Liverpool may consequently face a fight to keep Salah at Anfield.
And Spanish website Diario Gol say the La Liga giants are confident of getting a deal done.
Liverpool sold Philippe Coutinho to Barcelona back in January for a huge £142million.
But the Reds are likely to demand even more than that to let Salah go.
Given Real’s desire to sign a top attacker, and the forward’s importance to Liverpool, any deal is likely to be huge.
Yet Diario Gol say the La Liga side think £155m will be enough to secure his signature.
They would then reportedly pay Liverpool another £17m in variables.
And that would make Salah the second most-expensive player of all time, just behind Neymar.
However, the Egypt attacker has his sights firmly set on Champions League glory at the moment.
"If you had a choice, then of course the Champions League,” he said when asked whether he would choose to win that trophy or the PFA Player of the Year prize.
"I have no doubt - the Champions League.
"To win the Champions League is huge for everyone. I don't care about the rest."
