Paul Pogba makes Barcelona transfer decision after Jose Mourinho comments

MANCHESTER UNITED star Paul Pogba still wants to join Barcelona despite Jose Mourinho’s best attempts to play down talk of a rift, according to reports

Manchester United midfielder Pogba is being tracked by Barcelona, who may chance their arm by making an improved bid before the La Liga transfer window shuts on August 31.
The Catalan giants have already failed with an offer of £45million plus Yerry Mina and Andre Gomes, with both players since moving to Marco Silva's Everton.
Manchester United are adamant Pogba will not be leaving the club having invested a huge £89m to sign him from Juventus in 2016.
But the Daily Mail report that, despite Mourinho’s comments yesterday, the 25-year-old is eager to leave Old Trafford behind

Mourinho was quizzed on his United midfielder yesterday, just days after reports of a fresh bust-up emerged.
Yet the 55-year-old insisted their was no rift by saying: "The truth is we are together for two years and a couple of weeks and I’ve never been so happy with him as I am now, that’s the truth.
“I cannot demand more from him, I cannot ask more from him, he came here on a Monday, trained three days, I asked for his support for his contribution in an important match for us when the team had difficulties.
“He did it better and for more time than we could expect, when he says he did it for the fans and for the team is exactly what I want, is exactly what I demand from my players.
“He’s working well, playing well, he does for the fans, he does for the team and that’s what I want, to play for the team and I couldn’t be happier than what I am.”

But the Daily Mail say Pogba still wants out.
Barcelona have little chance of signing the United star this summer due to the fact the Red Devils would be unable to sign a replacement.
Reports in Italy, however, have previously claimed that Sergej Milinkovic-Savic has been earmarked as a potential successor.
Pogba was given the captaincy for United during their Premier League clash against Leicester last week.
The France international looked at home in the role, scoring a penalty and producing a performance that Mourinho later gushed over.
